Third parties

We may use the following third-party processors to support the research:

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

Yes, an incentive payment of £50 will be paid for each individual session or meeting engaged. An online payment provider Ayda will be used to issue payments. For all payments to be received they will need basic information i.e. name and email address. You can then choose whether to have the compensation received via Bacs, PayPal or in a voucher form. Their privacy policy can be view here.

You do not have to take part in the group. You can ask questions about our group before deciding whether to become a member.

If you do want to become a member, you can leave the group at any time. Note that only full completion of an individual session or meeting will be compensated via Ayda.

You can contact us with any queries or to request to withdraw from the group by emailing us at insight.research@nestcorporation.org.uk. At your request, any personal data not already deleted will be removed from our records.

The possible risks of participating in the research are minimal. We take the necessary steps to ensure compliance with Data Protection legislation and to always protect your personal data.

You will receive an incentive for your expertise. You will have opportunities for training, such as in blog writing and public speaking, as well as opportunities to attend conferences or event.

Additionally, your input will help us ensure that the voices of real households and real human experiences lie at the heart of our thinking and research. The advice and feedback you give will contribute to the ways we work at Nest Insight and will provide feedback on important research that could help policymakers, academics, and the financial services industry better understand how to support people to improve their financial wellbeing.

No – unless consent is given for film/photography/audio media to be externally published, however, should this happen then explicit consent will be obtained.

We will only ever be asking you to provide feedback or advice on a strategy or research. You will not be participating in the research or strategy sessions as a participant, but in an advisory capacity. Therefore, no personal or sensitive information will be asked of you.  In the event that you do, we will aim to delete this data. Until it is deleted, we may store and process that data as part of the group and related activities but will not publish it in any outputs.

You can contact the research team with any queries by emailing us at insight.research@nestcorporation.org.uk.
